@Pedro: Thanks dude! You too! ;)

@HybridMind: Bounce whatever you want mate, I'm a strong believer that developers should share experience and grow the market as partners.

I'm glad you recommended that I read this article Vlad it was very informative! I also enjoy reading the information that other developers choose to share in the Flash business space. My studio only started in January of this year and it has been a great adventure so far. I wish you good fortune in the coming year and thanks again for letting me bounce business ideas off of you!

Thanks for reading. About being more profitable. It is a pleasant surprise for us, but that does not mean that it is a rule of thumb. I think that it boils down to team size, publishing contracts and so on. For us flash gamedev is clearly working out better than casual downloads, but there are a lot of success stories that say the opposite.

Nice roundup - thanks for sharing. Interesting to see that you find flash games more profitable than casual downloadble games given the amount you are able to produce.

Thanks, Phil. It's really cool to know people appreciate it since this post is one of those beasts that starts small and then takes some days to work out. Hope it gives some perspective (at least ours) of how things can go.

Great post. I love reading flash game development 'retrospectives' such as this. It really helps those of us who are just beginning the journey.

Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the future!
