Hey Vlad,

Thanks for the post and the love. It is much appreciated.

We totally know, and are supportive of, the fact that FGL serves a different niche for each developer. For some we are a stepping stone to greater things, to some we are a way to make a living, to others we are meaningless. And that is all fine with me. But as I said in the post what does get to me is the fact that developers would think anything other than the fact that we are trying to help developers.

What I realized, and what ultimately inspired me to write the post, was that we DO have a lot of support. All of my worries and hang ups had nothing to do with developers thinking less of us, but rather the other companies' tactics. I just had to take a step back and see that. And posts like this just prove the point even more. Again, I thank you for that. That's one of the greatest things about this industry and the indie dev community: even though we are all working our backsides off to make a living (or even to TRY to make a living), we still come together to help each other out and give each other a boost when needed.
