		<description>Actually I think that having a mute button or having a pause on lost focus depends on the game&#039;s nature. If it&#039;s aimed at a more casual market having a mute button or having a pause on lost focus (which should result in the game being muted as well) is a clear advantage.

Honestly, it annoys me when a flash game, or any game now that I think about it, doesn&#039;t have an option to almost instantly mute the game.

I think it&#039;s because I like to be in control of the game and, for instance, if I can&#039;t mute the game, customize the controls or save my progress, it feels as though the game is working against me rather than letting me work with it. Ultimately I might realize that it might have been the developer&#039;s wish to have it be that way but at first it might scare me away.</description>
